Marengo Residential Recycling

MDC recycling service in Marengo is unlimited. Each household is supplied with a 65-gallon recycling toter, specifically designed to handle various recyclable materials efficiently. It is important to note that trash cans are not an acceptable alternative for storing or setting out recycling. Using the designated toter ensures proper collection and processing, supporting the community's commitment to sustainable practices.

Recyclables should be placed loose in the container. They should not be bagged and no plastic bags should be included in the recycling tote. Cardboard should be broken down to 3 ft. x 3 ft. or smaller and bundled if excessive. Do not cram other items into cardboard boxes.
