Residential Recycling

We recycle on the same day as your refuse pickup and we suggest that you use paper grocery bags as additional containers and dividers. Please do not use garbage cans or plastic bags for your recyclable materials.

These are the items we recycle. You do not have to separate them into individual groups.

• Newspaper and Inserts
• Chipboard (Cereal Boxes, Pop Cases)
• Clean, No Waxed Paper
• Office Paper, School Paper
• Paper Grocery Bags
• Plastic Items Coded 1-7
• Glass (Clear, Green & Brown)
• Metal (Aluminum & Tin Cans)
• Magazines
• Catalogs
• Telephone Books
• Corrugated Cardboard (cut down into 2ft x 2ft squares and bundled)

RINSE ALL JARS, BOTTLES AND CANS — REMOVE TOPS FROM PLASTIC AND GLASS

ITEMS THAT WE DO NOT RECYCLE: tissue, aluminum foil, plastic bags, Styrofoam, ceramic, china and light bulbs.

Please do not place any other items into your recycling container. Contamination of the recyclables will cause the entire load to be discarded and treated as garbage.
